They are companions in Levelite that accompany users and provide a variety of useful buffs, with certain pets also being able to evolve into new forms after being fed enough.
Overview
Pets are collectible companions that accompany players throughout their journey in Levelite. Every pet belongs to a species and has its own individual progression, allowing two pets of the same species to develop differently.
Each pet has its own Level, Experience (XP), Potential, Role, and Evolution. Pets can be trained by feeding them, evolved into stronger forms, and combined through Pet Fusion to create even more powerful companions.
Pets serve one of three roles:
Buff Pets – Provide passive bonuses to the player.
Skill Pets – Grant unique pet abilities.
Mount Pets – Allow players to travel between previously cleared Greyspire checkpoints.
New players begin their adventure with a Verdant Wyrmling, hatched from a Baby Dragon Egg.
Mechanics and Features
Pet Progression: Every pet progresses independently and has its own: Level, Experience (XP), Maximum Potential, Role, Evolution progress. Because Potential is unique to each pet, two pets of the same species may have different long-term growth.
Feeding Pets: Pets gain Experience by being fed. The amount of XP earned depends on the pet's food preference: Favourite Food 1.5× XP, Disliked Food: 0.5× XP. Using a pet's favourite food allows it to level more quickly.
Pet Roles: Every pet belongs to one of three roles.
Buff: pets provide passive bonuses while accompanying the player. Different species provide different buffs, such as increased damage, movement speed, gold gain, or defensive bonuses.
Skill: Pets possess unique pet abilities that differentiate them from standard Buff pets.
Mount: pets can transport players between previously unlocked Greyspire checkpoints. Each Mount has a Flight Range that increases as it gains levels, allowing travel to additional checkpoints over time.
Evolution: As pets grow stronger, they can evolve into more advanced forms. Evolution improves a pet's progression and may unlock additional abilities. Pets that inherit a dormant secondary buff through Pet Fusion can awaken that buff after evolving.
Pet Fusion: Combines two compatible pets into a single new pet. Before confirming a fusion, players can preview the resulting pet's: Species, Role, Level, Potential, Inherited traits.
The resulting pet inherits Potential from both parents and can exceed the normal Potential limit of pets obtained directly from Eggs.
Compatible Buff pets may also inherit a secondary dormant buff, which becomes active after the pet evolves.
Both parent pets are consumed during Fusion. If either parent has been marked as a favourite, an additional confirmation is required before the fusion can proceed.
Pet Buffs: Pets can provide buffs to their owner while they are being used. The effect provided depends on the pet, with different pets specializing in different types of bonuses.
Beast Keepers: Beast Keepers can be found throughout Greyspire. Once a pet species has been discovered, Beast Keepers allow players to obtain additional pets of that species. Species discovery is tracked separately from pet ownership, meaning a discovered species remains unlocked even if the original pet is no longer owned.
Choosing a Pet: Since pets can provide different buffs, users can choose a companion based on which bonus is most useful for their current activities or goals. Keep in mind the % of buff is random and will change with each egg, so you may end up with a few similar pets with different buff powers.
Secret Pet Recipes: Some pets can be obtained by fusing specific species. However, the outcome of these fusion combinations is only revealed after the fusion is completed, which is why they are called secret pets.

Verdant Wyrmling: Increases all damage dealt.
Whimwhisker: increases attack speed.
Whisperkin: increases attack speed.

Gravecanter (secret pet): Allows flying up to 4 floors of Greyspire at once.
Ironhoof: Allows flying up to 4 floors of Greyspire at once.
Pyralith: Allows flying up to 3 floors of Greyspire at once.
Rimekirin (secret pet): Allows flying up to 5 floors of Greyspire at once.
Skill Pets
Brickbound: Unlocks an earth-type defense skill.
Cinderwish (secret pet): Unlocks an arcane-type attack skill.
Glimmerwing (secret pet): Unlocks a health and cleanse skill.
Sealhopper (secret pet): Unlocks a dark-type attack skill.
Sunplume (secret pet): Unlocks a fire-type attack skill.
Sunscale Cockatrice: Unlocks a thunder-type attack skill.
Verdict Loom: Unlocks an arcane-type aegis skill.
